Commissioning Process
As a furniture designer / maker it is important to me that the client receives a personalised service as well as exactly what they want out of the piece they are commissioning, be that a boiler cupboard or a large dining suite. To this end the design process is key. I also feel that the interaction between myself and the client is one of the most enjoyable areas of my profession.
The initial consultation will include an in-depth discussion of your requirements and tastes, in which I will also take pictures and notes regarding existing design styles present in your house or work place.
This consultation is followed by a presentation of drawings, models and other media intended to fine-tune the proposed solution to your complete satisfaction.
Only when you are completely satisfied with the design will manufacture commence.
