Using the finest, hand selected hard woods sourced from sustainable forests (All timber used is FSC certificated or reclaimed) combined with the highest standards of craftsmanship and design, you can be assured of a piece as individual as you are.

Meet the Maker
The driving force behind Definitive Furniture is me, Mark Woodward. Here is a brief description of my professional past and what inspires me to design and create furniture to the highest standards.
After successfully completing a BA (Hons) Degree in furniture design and manufacture at a leading school, I worked for a specialist furniture company in the Welsh borders. During this time I completed over 200 pieces of furniture, each one bespoke and each with its own individual skill requirements.
While enjoyable, I always knew that my time at the company was to hone my skills as a designer/maker in a professional environment, and enable me to realise my dream of successfully running my own workshop.
With the opening of the workshop and the creation of Definitive Furniture as a company, I am on my way to fulfilling my passion for quality in design and manufacture that drive me.
